JOB DETAILS:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To plan, direct and control the financial resources of the bank and drive sound overall financial management and performance in line with the strategic plan and acts as the primary liaison to the Board Assets and liabilities committee to strengthen BRAC Uganda Bank's financial position.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the senior management champion the development and implementation of the Bank's strategic plan; provide expert advice concerning profitability, funding. resource optimization & financial sustainability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Banking & investment.
• Must possess CPA, ACCA or other internationally known Accounting qualifications.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' relevant experience, five (5) of which should be at management level in Microfinance Bank handling large portfolio or in a similar regulated financial institution where best practices have been demonstrated.

SKILLS & COMPETENCES
• Advanced numerical skills-statistical analysis, financial modelling and analysis.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, interpret documents and effective financial product management skills.
• Familiar with financial product development and effective financial product management skills.
