Qualifications and experience:
1. Must have a full professional accounting qualification in ACCA or CPA or CIA.
2. Must be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with bias in Accounting or Finance, or any other related Accounting and Finance Degree obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning.
3. Should have at least three (3) years’ related work experience in a recognized institution.
4. Must be a good team player.
5. Knowledge of computer accounting packages like Pastel, SAP is a MUST.
6. Must have a high level of confidentiality.
7. Ability to work under minimum supervision.
8. Must be a committed and practicing Christian.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. External and internal audit management.
2. Budget preparation, monitoring and control.
3. Preparation of financial reports and analysis for decision making.
4. Responsible for preparing, posting, entering and posting payment vouchers as well as adjustment vouchers.
5. Reconciling control accounts and reporting any anomalies to the Senior Accountant.
6. Responsible for the management of the Campus payroll.
7. Providing training and supervision of all account’s personnel.
8. Ensuring safe custody of documents relating to the office.
9. Carrying out routine bank reconciliations.
10. Responsible for reconciling cash and petty cash floats.
11. Any other official duty as shall be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
