JOB DETAILS:

Primary function:

Learn and assist with executing oilfield production operations and support the production maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in executing new oil field production commissioning and start-up.
• Assist in collecting and follow up on production-related issues left out by the engineering team.
• Learn to manage emergency response as per the emergency response plan.
• Get familiar with the production process, central control system, ESD, Fire & Gas system, equipment parameters and operation procedure, chemical MSDS and characters, system initial and normal start-up procedure, and emergency shutdown procedure.
• Learn how to carry out routine operations and deal with production abnormalities to avoid production shutdown, equipment damage, or any petroleum-related leaking.
• Participate in operating oil/water/gas and chemical processes, maintain process stability, and treat oil and water to meet specifications.
• Learn to execute production-related equipment routine checks and records and promptly report abnormalities to senior operators.
• Assist in carrying out production-related equipment preventive maintenance.
• Ensure worksite cleanliness and safety is maintained.
• Assist in coordinating and supervising production-related contractor onsite work.
• Participate in all training programs organized by the Company.
• Perform other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related fields.
• 0-2 years’ work experience with an Oil & Gas industry background is preferred.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of oil and gas processes, development, and production.

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
