Knowledge, skills, responsibilities required.
• Must be a born-again Christian who is a model in word, deed, lifestyle and demonstrates involvement in Church ministry.
• Must have at least a Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health, Nutrition, clinical medicine, Education and Social work-related disciplines.
• Must be Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Power Point plus knowledge of Internet.
• Should be a good steward, of high integrity, exhibiting confidentiality, with good social skills and can be trusted by persons who prefer a non-intrusive lifestyle.
• Highly self-motivated to carry out Home-visits and group trainings that involve parents and their children in non-classroom settings.
• Should have a developmental mindset and ability to design and implement homebased interventions that are contextualized.
• Ability to design a stimulating environment for children using locally available resources/materials.
• Experience and knowledge in Early Childhood (ECD), GOBIFFF components, maternal-child health intervention programs will be an added advantage.

General purpose of the job
The CDO-SDR is a key liaison person for all Sponsorship Relations at project level.

Core Duties & Responsibilities.
• Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a strong Christian witness who demonstrates courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Church, and also faithfully upholds child ministry in prayer.
• Working within one’s influence, serves as an advocate for children and their caregivers who live in poverty and are not able to speak out for themselves.3. Implements the day to day running of the project health activities for the achievement of the physical development outcomes.
• Takes lead in implementing SDR related standards of the partnership agreement as well as recommended manuals as a technical staff within the partnership.
• Prepares and submits SDR related reports to the Project Director and church leadership as a means to monitor and evaluate issues to do with child/sponsor/donor relationships.
• Serves as a project and church leadership consultant on all Child/Sponsor/Donor, communications, updates and tours & visits and supports them in maintaining good relationships, honoring of schedules and plans for the church, Compassion as well as other agencies.
• Discharges other project work related duties as assigned by the Project Director.
