JOB DETAILS:
Golden Crane Investment Limited operates hotels around Kampala and western Uganda. These hotels are medium – large size in operations. The Management of Golden Crane Investments ltd is seeking to recruit staff to manage these hotels. The following positions are vacant and management seeks applications to fill them.
Positions: 2 Sales and Marketing Executives
Responsibilities:
• Market the service the hotel has to ofer for prospective clients using all channels.
• Manage reservation and bookings for prospective clients
• Promote future marketing for the hotel services to clients in country and abroad.
• Liaise with Tour & Travel (safari) companies to attract tourist clients to the hotel
• Arrange Domestic tour activities using the hotel services as the back bone of this activity.
• Carry out marketing of the hotel services. Using (print – N/papers, electronic- radio/ TV, Social media and other internet platforms such as emails.
• Maintain hotel website in an attractive form and relevant to prospective users / clients
• Develop, produce and utilize marketing materials such as brochures, fl iers, posters, banners, TV/Radio announcements/ adverts/spots/jingles.
• Continuously scan the market to look for business opportunities
• Spearhead business growth and Development
Qualification, Experience
• 3 years’ experience in similar job in the same industry or other service related sector
• Education
• University degree from recognized institution majoring in sales, marketing online, Tour & travel hospitality, entertainment will be an added advantage.
• The prospective sales/marketing executive will be required to have the following additional competencies.
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Excellent Negotiation skills
3. Excellent presentation skills
4. Excellent computer skills
5. Demonstrable experience in use of online marketing and social media skills in development of advertising materials, brochures, fliers etc.
6. Target oriented.
