JOB DETAILS:
Partners for Children World Wide (PFCW) is a Child focused nongovernmental organization operating in the districts of; Soroti, Serere, Amuria, Kapelebyong, Katakwi and Kaberamaido supporting communities to address the plight of Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable children in the operational area. PfCW works with vulnerable communities and other actors to address child poverty and adversity. PfCW values, Transparency, Accountability, Honesty, Respect, Team work, Love, Building Others, Excellence, Stewardship and Integrity. The organization implements projects in health, basic education, ECD, livelihoods, youth skilling, child protection, child sponsorship/safety net, capacity building and disaster risk management. PFCW has received funding from BMZ, through ChildFund International to implement an economic empowerment project, focusing on smart agriculture, youth skills development, microenterprise initiatives and disaster risk management. PfCW now seeks to recruit suitably qualified, self-motivated and hardworking candidates for various positions listed below. .
JOB TITLE: Project Assistants (4 Positions)
Accountability/Reporting
: The position holder will report to the Project Officer with a dotted line to the Parents Executive Committee (PEC). Location: The job holder will be based in any of the community offices in the districts of Amuria, Dokolo, Katakwi and Serere. PURPOSE OF
POSITION & JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure planning implementation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of project activities in one of the four districts of operation. He/she will coordinate project participants; build their capacity; document lessons learnt share best practices; mentor Tots and coordinate with extension workers to deliver sustainable community development solutions, using climate smart agricultural initiatives. The Job holder will be responsible for the day to day operations of the project.
