Job details:
Oola Lolim Ltd runs a large scale commercial farm in Nwoya District, employing 20 full time and up to 150 seasonal staff. We currently have a vacancy for an accountant, to undertake all accounts functions for the company, including but not limited to:
• Maintaining books of accounts in Quickbooks.
• Statutory submissions to URA and NSSF.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Preparation of invoices, receipts, statements etc
• Debt collection
• Petty cash management
• Preparation of reports
The accountant will report on a day to day basis to the farm manager, and overall to the Managing Director.
The company will provide a competitive salary, accommodation and basic meals.
The farm is on the main Karuma to Pakwach Road, but is in a remote location with very few local amenities, so the position will not be suitable for everyone.
