JOB DETAILS:
Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancies on contract that exist under the USAID Government to Government Assistance to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital Activity.

Title: Assistant Nursing Officer (Midwiferry)
Job Ref: HRM-MRRH-G2G-22-07
No of Vacancies: Two
Age: Below 50 years
Purpose: To carry out day activities on midwifery activities.
Reports to: Unit In-charge
Minimum Academic Requirements
• Diploma in Midwifery and holds a valid practicing license
• Must be registered with the nurses and midwives' council

Key Outputs
• To receive expectant Mothers, register admissions, births and discharges
• To carry out antenatal care with emphasis on high risk cases and referring them
• To provide midwifery care during delivery
• To keep proper medical patients records
• To implement infection control measures and guidelines
• To participate in meetings in the clinic.
• To observe and enforce the ethical code of conduct

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Associate Degree
