JOB DETAILS:
Uganda. This role is a work from home position and will require you to partially travel. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be required to carry out the below responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Visit those markets whenever needed to introduce the company, generate sales and build up relationships with clients.
• Provide sales assistance to the team on the ground, daily follow up, supervise and design customer’s visits.
• Address business inquiries from customers and follow up on customer invoicing and ensuring deliveries are prompt.
• Coordination with the East Africa office, Holland office and Jordanian offices on direct orders, shipments, clearance and consignment delivery to our customers.
• Appoint distributors who are capable of holding stocks and sell out to small manufacturers.
• Introduce new products to these markets. (Polyol, TDI, Solvents, Mixed Thinner)
• Prepare sales reports on visits every week.
• To follow up with existing clients, and to introduce the company to new clients in Uganda and its environs
• Prepare and follow up, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecast. Compare sales forecast to Actual sales achieved on monthly base.
• Maintain and build key customer relationships.
• Drive and achieve sales orders/numbers and achieve gross profit margin goals.
• Uncover and develop new business: new customers/new products
• Link between customer/base market needs and the company.
• Uncover customer needs and translate to Management.
• Contribute to product management tasks namely pricing, order processing, customer service, competitive activity, forecasting/planning etc. as needed.

The Successful Applicant
• Min 5 years of working experience in sales within the Solvents, Polyurethanes & Petrochemicals industry
• Highly self-driven sales hunter with superior product & market development skills
• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Excellent communication in English is mandatory
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within Uganda
