JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced talent to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda. Suitable candidates are encouraged to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the company policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards of the host country.
• Work closely with all project teams, project management, and construction teams, as well as other key internal and external stakeholders, to the project adheres to the legal standards and policies of the host country.
• Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
• Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.
• Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
• Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.
• Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
• Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
• Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
• Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues.
• Supervise compliance officers and team.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Legal, Finance, Environment, Engineering, or a related Field
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of pipeline experience
• Environmental/social management experience
• Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
• Methodical and diligent planning abilities
• Good communication skills and interpersonal abilities
• Strong knowledge of the industry processes and regulations

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
