Our client is an insurance brokering company in Uganda dealing in general insurance, life, pension and medical schemes. In an effort to boost service delivery to their clients, they are looking tor proactive and vibrant professionals to join their team in the following positions.

Finance Manager

• Reporting to the Head of Finance, s/he will provide a link between the Broking Divisions and the
• Underwriters/Insurance Companies by reconciling/comparing the balances per the books and the
• Underwriters and ensuring that all business booked by and given to insurance companies is correctly captured. S/he will ensure payments are made to the Underwriters on all amounts received from clients, while taking care of income and taxes due to the Ugandan Government.

Person Specifications:

• Accounting/ Finance degree.
  
•  A professional qualification in accounting preferably CPA(K) or ACCA
  
•  Knowledge of QuickBooks and Sun system is added advantage ,_
  
•  5 years relevant working experience with at least 3 years in senior management ' 4
