JOB DETAILS:
A 4-star Hotel in Kampala is seeking an experienced Financial Controller reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for accurate financial reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Establish and maintain internal control procedures to ensure financial integrity.
• Comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial laws.
• Manage cash flows, monitor liquidity, and optimize working capital.
• Implement cost reduction strategies and monitor expenses.
• Provide strategic financial planning to aid decision-making to support business growth. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and mentoring.
• Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee payments.

Job Qualification and Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, Master's degree is an added advantage
• Professional qualification ACCA, CPA etc.
• Over 10 years working experience, 5 of which attained at supervisory level.
• kizbraStrong knowledge of financial accounting standards, and regulations.
• Proficient in analyzing financial data to provide strategic insights.
• Ability to lead and manage the team and communicate with stakeholders
• Upholding ethical standards and ensure accuracy of in financial reporting and analysis.
