Head of SME Development Programme
Overall Role
The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of strategic programmes to support the growth and development of SME clients, addressing areas such as business planning. financial management, marketing, and operational efficiency.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Engage with SME clients to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, providing tailored advice and solutions.
- Develop and implement training programmes to support SME clients in building their capabilities and achieving their business objectives.
- Develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies to promote the SME Development Programme and attract new clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments of SMEs and business service providers to identify their challenges, requirements, and opportunities for growth.
- Help enterprises grow and diversify their business services and product offerings by providing strategic guidance, identifying new market opportunities, and facilitating access to resources such as funding, technology, and expertise.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Master's degree in Economics, finance, business administration or related fields.
- At least 5-year relevant experience working in field of SME development.
- Deep technical knowledge in SME development.
- Work experience with development Partners.
- Sound analytical, organizational, project management and negotiations skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
