Job details:
Caritas Arua, in cooperation with Cordaid, is preparing a humanitarian response in the settlements in West Nile, focusing on supporting the refugees and host communities in a selected area. The programme will target the sectors of Food Security and WASH, while mainstreaming Protection. For that purpose, additional technical capacity is required. Caritas is therefore currently seeking to recruit a number of highly qualified professionals for the below three positions. All three report directly to the Humanitarian Programme Manager.

• Driver’s license
• Flexibility to perform different tasks and outside office hours
• Able to work under pressure, not a 9-5 mentality

Logistics Officer, based in Kampala with frequent field visits to Arua and the fields

Responsibilities: providing logistical support to the whole programme (procurement, supplies, vehicle management, ICT management, office management, travels, security and other tasks).

Qualifications and experience: bachelor degree in relevant field, minimum 5 years of experience as logistical officer in emergency context, being responsible for procurement and contract management, supplies, warehousing, reporting, ICT management, HR and team management. Experience with emergency camp settings is an asset.
