JOB DETAILS:
Program Development and Management:
• Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's programs in the four strategic pillars i.e. Shelter, Health, Environment and Education.
• Lead proposal development for the Foundation, including writing and drafting proposals, budgets, Project Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (PMEL).
• Create comprehensive program plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Oversee program implementation, ensuring activities are executed effectively, and program goals are achieved.
• Monitor program progress, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven recommendations for program improvement.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships in the strategic pillars with local healthcare organizations, vocational training institutes, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with partners to identify areas of synergy and develop joint initiatives to maximize program impact.
• Engage and mobilize communities to actively participate in program activities and initiatives.

Team Leadership and Management:
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of program staff, including healthcare professionals, vocational trainers, and support staff.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.

Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness and impact.
• Collect, analyze, and report program data to measure progress towards established goals and outcomes.
• Use evaluation findings to identify areas for program improvement and inform future program planning.
• Grant Management and Reporting:
• Manage program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and in compliance with donor requirements.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports for donors, demonstrating program achievements and impact.
• Support the development of grant proposals and participate in fundraising efforts to secure funding for program expansion.

Budgetary responsibility:
• To oversee the financial management of the projects as approved by the BOT, including annual budgeting, preparation of accounts and the management of reserves and other assets.
• Ensure proper book of accounts are maintained.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills with large groups as well as with individuals are essential.
• Ability to initiate and build relationships with prospective corporate sponsors, government and donors.
• Minimum academic qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
• Qualifications as an added advantage: Master’s Degree in Community Development
• Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
• Ability to promote, organize and run large events on fundraising and government liason.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage with, negotiate with, and influence senior leaders in external networks and to align internal resources in support of the foundation’s work/strategy.
