JOB DETAILS:
Preservation Technician

Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensuring that the preservation strategy and procedures are followed
• Reporting against KPI to highlight the implementation status of the strategy including recommendations for improvement and corrective action.
• Maintain and handle highly sophisticated inspection equipment including calibration, preservation, and cleanness to ensure proper readings and efficient inspection results.
• Prepare and maintain registers of inspected items such as relief valves; rotating equipment and flanges, pipe and plates that require mandatory inspection for preservation.
• To ensure the execution of all preservation follow project specification and procedure.
• Liaise with other discipline to ensure preservation work completed.
• Reporting to preservation lead / coordinator and preservation engineer.
• High standard of safe working practice, quality, and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent related field
• Professional registration with a national or international body
• Professional training in quality management such as ISO 9001
• 5 years of Preservation inspection experience required with considerable exposure to materials preservation systems.
• Must be familiar and have working knowledge of International related Codes, Standards, and Regulations
• Proven experience in one or more of, preservation, logistics, contracts/supply chain or project management
• Excellent communications skills
• Experience with multi-national contractors, in particular those involved in the
• Construction of pipelines projects would be an advantage
• Ability to use MS Office (word, excel, Outlook, Power point) competently
• Understanding of Time / Distance planning programs
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of safety awareness
