Position: Programs Manager - Shipping, Ports and Freight Services
About Us
The Intergovernmental Standing Committee on Shipping (ISCOS) whose founding Membership are the States of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia but now growing its Membership to States in the Eastern and Southern Africa is mandated with the Promotion, Protection and Coordination of the Shipping and Maritime Interests of the Member States and the region at large.
ISCOS' Mandate is derived from the International nature of Shipping and Maritime affairs, the technical nature and complexity of issues involved in the sector requiring a specialised institution to coordinate, the commonality of Shipping and Maritime challenges facing regional states, the universality of Maritime aspirations for States in the Eastern and Southern Africa and the interdependency of regional States in Shipping and Maritime Trade making collaborations inevitable at both the regional and the international levels.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Position of Programs Manager – Shipping, Ports and Freight Services at ISCOS Secretariat. Applicants should be Uganda Citizens.
