Project Manager – Customary Land Project; Based in Gulu
Reporting to: Programme Director, Trocaire Uganda
Salary Grade: Grade 6 (Annual Gross Salary ranges between UGX 75m and 129m)

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing strategic relationships important to the project 15%
  
• Project management, planning, monitoring, & evaluation 60%
  
• Human resource management 10%
  
• Financial management 15%

Key Requirements:

• University degree in a field related to livelihoods food security/ rural development
  
• At least 7 years’ experience in project management in a partnership context
  
• Knowledge of land and livelihoods issues
  
• Knowledge of gender issues
  
• Ability to think, manage and communicate strategically
  
• Demonstrable fluency in written and spoken English
  
• Experience of managing donor funds including understanding of compliance issues
  
• Experience of narrative and financial reporting to donors, specifically institutional Donors
