Job Description
• Understand and develop concepts for major hazard awareness in the affiliate and start the process of management and leadership in integrity and technical safety, from start of project on ground and in country activities
• Ensuring all integrity threats are identified, assessed and resolution plans are costed/ included in the affiliate Long Term Plan as well as provide input into the HSE budget and forecast the effect of Major Risks on affiliate expenditures
• Developing and Leading the Integrity & Major Risks Team, with responsibility for personnel, employee development, technical guidance/coaching & support, identifying team resource/recruitment requirements and budgets
• Ensuring effective integration of process safety and technical integrity considerations into the affiliate’s business decisions and activities, via input to business unit planning
• Accountable for the development and ongoing delivery of verification activities for facilities, including Independent Verification Body activities
• Take part in/execute or direct H3SE studies and risk assessments undertaken for the execution of operations and for modifications regarding all works performed in Uganda for the project (Upstream and Midstream)
• Manage and carry out professional risk analysis and suggest preventive and improvement actions
• Ensure technical support for operational readiness activities, including commissioning and installation
• Engage and understand management of company engineering Technical Authorities and 3rd party EPC companies for affiliate and subsequent activities
• Provide material evidence of the group HSE know-how and commitment vis-à-vis its partners, the authorities, the ONG’s and the local communities
• Risk management processes in H3SE as well as ensuring compliance with local and company guidelines regarding emergency and security.

Candidate profile
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the oil & Gas industry with various operational specialties including risk management and Audit & Asset Integrity processes. Profound knowledge HSE culture. Previous experience in management positions with experience in H3SE Management System
• Strong organizational, time management, analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
