We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Store Clerk to support our inventory management and material handling processes at our Lugazi Plant. The ideal candidate will assist in receiving, recording, issuing, and safeguarding raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate stock records and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming materials and supplies.
  • Issue materials and tools to production departments as per requests.
  • Maintain updated inventory records and ensure stock accuracy.
  • Organize and label storage areas for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and assist in monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
  • Report any discrepancies or damaged stock to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
  • Good knowledge of inventory software or Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy items.
