Position Overview
• We are seeking skilled Tailors to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and create original clothing and accessories, bringing both creativity and technical skills to our production process.

Key Responsibilities
• Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories and write specifications, including color schemes, construction details, material types, and accessory requirements.
• Determine pricing for styles and confer with sales and management executives or clients to discuss design ideas.
• Select materials and production techniques for products and provide sample garments to agents and sales representatives.
• Direct and coordinate workers involved in drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples or finished garments.
• Collaborate with other designers to coordinate special products and designs.

Required Qualifications
• Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Tailoring or related fields.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in tailoring or fashion design.
• Skills: Active listening, time management, monitoring, and management of personnel resources.
• Technology: Proficient in graphics or photo imaging software, particularly Wilcom software, Adobe Illustrator, and HQ software.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Luganda.

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of production and processing techniques.
• Skills in speaking, negotiation, and learning strategies.
