JOB DETAILS:
ICWEA is currently seeking Community Monitors who will be responsible for monitoring multiple healthcare facilities in specific areas. Their role involves assessing the quality of HIV and TB service delivery through data collection and engaging with primary healthcare facility staff, implementing partners, clinic committees, and other key stakeholders. This engagement is aimed at advocating for improved service delivery and tracking progress.

We are recruiting for positions in 10 districts: Rubirizi, Kazo, Mubende, Kagadi, Kassanda, Buikwe, Buvuma, Buyende, Katakwi, and Kapelebyong. Applicants must be residents of the aforementioned districts.

We strongly encourage individuals living with HIV in all their diversity and those affected by HIV and TB, who possess the required skills and experience, to apply. They will be given first priority.

Education, Skills and competencies
• Minimum Advanced Certificate of Education. Other certificates, diplomas and degrees will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of the diversity of PLHIV and KPs;
• Experience in community data collection is a MUST.
• Demonstrable experience in organising, advocacy and/or mobilisation at a community level;
• Must have basic knowledge in computer applications such as Ms Word, Excel and Zoom
• Appreciation and substantial knowledge in community engagement, human rights, gender consideration and programming are required;
• At least 2 years’ experience and involvement in HIV/TB and Key populations programs
• Comfortable working with or willingness to learn to use new technologies and software;
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills in at least one local language and English (is desirable);
• Fluency in the local language in a region will be an added advantage
