Job purpose/Description:
FHI 360 is seeking to recruit for a Data clerk to support data management for post recovery Ebola virus disease (EVD) Infection Prevention and Control interventions to drive strategic planning, resource allocation and targeted technical assistance and supervision to districts. Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer/designated supervisor at the KCCA, and working with division and Health facility teams, the data clerks will have the following roles and responsibilities:

Roles and responsibilities:
• Ensure availability of Data collection and reporting tools at the supported sites.
• Track stock status Data collection and reporting materials.
• Conduct routine collection, aggregation, and dissemination of EVD data from targeted health facilities and community.
• Conduct routine validation of EVD IPC and HMIS data entered in the systems.
• Maintain up to date weekly tracker for key indicators and activities conducted.
• Conduct data harmonization activities between the pre-primary, primary and summary reporting tools.
• Participate in the facility-based data review meetings to discuss quality of data submitted in the DHIS2 systems.
• Support data visualization of IPC data.
• Performs any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.

Required Experience & Qualifications
• A minimum of a bachelors in Statistics, Social Sciences with a bias in medical records management from a reputable institute.
• 2 years’ experience in conducting HMIS, OVC MIS and Covid data management tasks.
• Experience in EVD IPC data management.
• Experience in the use of DHIS2 system to enter client level data at facility is an added advantage.
• Experience using facility and community data management tools.
• Good numeracy skills, attention to detail and experience with data entry using the DHIS2 system.
• Experience in handling collecting, collating, and managing numerical data.
• Data analysis skills.
