JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
CAD Engineer is responsible for planning, development and creation of technical and detailed design drawings using CAD software applications.

Salary Scale: K6 (1)
Reports to: Senior CAD Engineer

Key Functions:
• Develop Engineering and Technical Drawings: Design, develop and engineer high quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools; and turn blueprints and technical drawings into 2D and 3D computer models in compliance with company design, safety, quality, environmental compliance and procedural standards.
• Skilling and Capacity Development: Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
• Reporting and Analysis: Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Engineering aspects within the company.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautic Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design or Related Field from a recognized Institution.

Minimum Experience
The applicant should have General Working Experience of at least Two (2) years with demonstrated knowledge and skill in Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Engineering tools used in Product Design and Engineering.

Demonstrated knowledge and skill with Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Engineering tools used in Product Design and Engineering including but not limited to CATIA, ANSYS, SOLID WORKS or Related
