JOB DETAILS:
Kibaale District Civil Society Organization Network ( KCSON ) is a registered NGO network operating in Western Uganda. KCSON started in Z003 and focuses on capacity building of CSOs, promoting effective governance in public service delivery including natural resources governance, and empowerment of vulnerable groups of people.

KCSON current donors include CRS (for a USAID funded program), WWF (UCO), lDl and members. KCSON is one of the CSO implementers of the USAID funded Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth (SOCV) Project in Klbaale and Kyenjojo, in partnership with ACODEV as an IP and Catholic Relief Services (CR5) as the Prime. However KCSON has extended to district of Hoima and lbanda for implementation of the project activities.

The Project is designed to: improve the health, nutrition, education and psychosocial Wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as reduce abuse, exploitation and neglect among this population. KCSON is therefore looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancies below, to carryout vertical project activities, in the districts of: Hoima, kyenjojo and lbanda.

KEY ROLES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for overall supervision, Coaching and Mentoring of Para-social Workers for effective OVC households identification / assessment and enrollment into the S00! Project and helping OVC Households to develop Household Improvement Plans (HIPs).

The Social Worke rwill ensure supervision and maintenance of an effective referrals & linkages system, as a core part in Case Management processes thereby ensure proper documentation of beneficiaries reached to access cores services.

She/he will supervise Para-sccial Workers to effectively perform assigned tasks in respective Sub-counties such as: homevisits, referrals, case follow-ups and ensure completion of referrals. She/he will work in liaison with the Community Development Officer(CDO), DPC and other relevant stakeholders to organize Sub county

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work & Social Administration, Development Studies, Community Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, or Any other related. At least 3 years work experience in community/ social work particularly on OVC and/or HIVAI DS donor-funded projects; she/he should have demonstrated ability to manage community volunteers and experience in working with rulal communities; Ability to multi task and work under pressure to deliver results;

She/he should have computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, data entry, Demonstrable good communication skills in both English and Local Language
Desirable: Class A riding Permit- Motorcycles
