Job Overview
On behalf of our client, we seek to recruit a highly competent, hardworking and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible accurate book keeping, filing of returns, enforcing of controls and reporting.

Key duties and responsibilities
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Examining payables and receivables.
• Generation of accurate periodic management accounts and financial reports
• Provide a sound recommendation regarding the financial health of the company whenever called upon.
• Responsible for keeping complete and accurate books of accounts
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Ensure value for money for all expenses made by the company
• Conduct monthly bank and material reconciliations.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications
• 4-5 years’ experience in Accounting
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Minimum of CPA level 2 is an added advantage
• Must have supervisory skills
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks and Tally
• Critical thinking, maturity and professionalism are highest priorities
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Exposure in supervising construction sites is an added advantage

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
