Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding a Diploma in Business Administration/Studies; or Gender and Development; or Development Studies; or Social Work and Social Administration; or Law from a recognized University / Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Program Officer for performing the following duties:-
1. Carrying out needs assessment for the National Women’s Council and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders;
2. Providing administrative support to the programme activities of the National Women’s Council under the National Secretariat for Special Interest Groups;
3. Making follow-ups on the Women’s Council recommendations and decisions;
4. Handling complaints and advising the management accordingly;
5. Preparing activity and programme-based work plans, budgets and reports for the National Women’s Council;
6. Organizing and coordinating meetings, workshops and other events planned by the National Women’s Council;
7. Developing and maintaining collaboration linkages with relevant stakeholders of the National Women’s Council;
8. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
