JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Business Development Officer
Function
• Plan and promote the client’s Business and sell training courses to different categories of clients
• Facilitate and execute all the client’s Uganda training activities assigned under your portfolio in coordination with the training coordinator in a profitable manner
• Coordinate and execute assigned projects in accordance with the contract and proposal/terms of reference

Responsibilities
• Develop strategies for each of the client’s BD offerings.
• Ensure public training events are held regularly at the client’s premises.
• Ensure that each client training / BDS event meets or exceeds the client’s expectations.
• Ensure that each BDS / training event is profitable.
• Ensure that the needs of facilitators are adequately catered for trainings you are responsible for.
• Constantly look for ways of improving the planning and execution of our sales and marketing initiatives including social media etc.
• Provide regular input to enhance our Business Development strategies.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the assigned team.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Develop and inculcate high-performance culture in the team.
• Convene regular effective team meetings to promote synergy.
• Participate actively in making and implementing management decisions.
• Provide ad-hoc and regular (monthly, quarterly, and annually) reports to the Manager.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
