JOB DETAILS:
Position Overview:
• The CSSA Mid-Term Learning Review Consultant/Subject Matter Specialist will spearhead the development, implementation, and delivery of all mission deliverables and ensure the overall quality of the learning review.
Level of Effort Expectations:
• This position is expected to have an LOE of 15 days.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership during the implementation of the learning review tasks and preparation of deliverables.
• Lead the data collection and analysis, produce key learning review reports, and monitor the timely submission of deliverables.
• Participate in all learning review activities, including designing of data collection instruments, data collection and analysis, report writing, periodic meetings, etc.
• Lead the presentation of results and all stakeholder engagements.
Deliverables:
• Desk review synthesis report
• PPT presentation of findings
• Draft CSSA learning review report
• Final CSSA learning review report
Requirements:
• Master's degree in organizational development, social sciences, or other relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in strengthening CSO advocacy efforts and facilitating government-civil society dialogue.
• Must be a subject matter specialist in organizational capacity development and/or advocacy capacity building.
• Experience in conducting desk reviews, qualitative data collection and analysis, synthesizing complex information, and producing evaluation reports.
• Experience in leading the development of data collection tools, mixed-methods data collection efforts, data analysis, and the preparation of high-quality reports.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with a wide range of actors.
• Knowledgeable about the workings of the national and sub-national CSO networks.
• Ability to respond flexibly to emerging research themes and work-related timelines.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
