JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications and Experience:
• The candidate should be in possession of a relevant Diploma in Hotel and Institutional Catering or its equivalent in a relevant field from a recognized institution. S/he should have working experience of at least 3 years as Chef in a recognized organization or in a related activity in a recognized institution. S/he should have a satisfactory record of service to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the food and beverage provision for staff and students.
• Supervising catering activities.
• Planning menus in consultation with other Chefs.
• Recruitment and training of Kitchen staff in consultation with the Director, Human Resources.
• Being in charge of organizing, leading and motivating the catering team.
• Being in charge of planning staff shifts and rotas.
• Monitoring the quality of the service provided
• Monitoring the cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by relevant authority.


Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
