Job summary
Provide high visible and targeted, focusing on the areas that pose the greatest harm to the community thus providing a deterring presence, reassurance and the ability to gain intelligence

Duties & Responsibilities
• Participate in the formulation and management of departmental work plans and budgets.
• Support maximal productivity of all community staff for impactful community outreach.
• Support project design and development for sustainability of community programs.
• Participate in impact communication of ROM community interventions.
• Support relationships establishment, maintenance and management for growing ROM community engagement.
• Propagate the vision, mission and the values of ROM in all community activities.
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
• Support and observe the safeguarding culture in the organization regularly documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding issues to the HR.
• Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation, as you promote the vision, mission and the values of Reach Out Mbuya.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Maturity and of upright character
• Master level in social work-related qualifications or Bachelors in social work discipline with 5 years’ experience leading community work teams
• Additional management qualifications an advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience in community work and managing teams
• Experience in urban poor and /or Health interventions is an advantage
• Proof of managerial competency from previous engagements. e.g. communication & interpersonal skills, problem solving, customer focus, ability to work within a team etc.
• Computer literacy
• Creativity, project design experience and self-drive

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
