On behalf of our client Mota-Engil-Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Conductor Pipes Site Manager to work in Uganda.

Position: Conductor Pipes Site Manager.
Department: Production.

Job summary:
The Conductor Pipes Site Manager will be responsible for the supervision of all piping works and ensuring the safety and quality standards of the client.

Key roles and responsibilities
• Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and …
• Supervision of piping works and ensures the safety and quality standards of the client
• implementing corporate policies and examining and confirming the accuracy of the systems operating in the pipeline facility
• supervision and Inspection of cold and hot insulation and cladding on piping and equipment.
• Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details.
• Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and supports, prior to the hydro test and prepare punch list for incomplete works, check and closing after the work is done
• Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that they are properly identified and that valves are installed in accordance with flow direction

Qualifications, Skills, and Education required.
• Degree in Geology or training/Certificates in a related field with 10 years of experience serving in a similar position.
• A minimum of 13 years of experience working in an international geological operation.
• Must have served in a managerial position for a minimum of 5 years.
• Experience working on large international construction projects is an added advantage
• Experience working in the oil and gas industry is a must.
• Advanced knowledge of Software.
• Microsoft Office Professional
• Centralized Business Management – SAP (SD)
• GIS & Mapping – Arc GIS
• Drilling Information Modelling – Target-Geosoft
• QAQC Database Management – Sable Data Works
