On behalf of our client Mota-Engil-Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Conductor Pipes Superintendent to work in Uganda.
Position: Conductor Pipes Superintendent.
Department: Production.

Job summary:
The Conductor Pipes Superintendent will be responsible for the installation of piping systems in accordance with project specifications.

Key roles and responsibilities
• Monitors, verifies, and reports on construction activities for compliance with the CPM schedule.
• Coordinate and interface effectively with other craft superintendents and subcontractors, staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• The UG piping superintendent is responsible for coordinating the installation of HDPE and carbon steel systems.
• Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews.
• Must be able to access all points of a construction site with a team and provide input.
• Willing to travel and relocate on a needed basis.
• Coordinates multi-discipline craft activities within a specific area of the project, or all related crafts of a single discipline covering areas of the project.
• Responsible for Jobsite operations including onsite activities of GAB, subcontractors, suppliers, and others as may be assigned within an area of responsibility.
• Ensures the zero-accident philosophy is incorporated into all aspects of the construction operations.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities from time to time as may be assigned by your immediate supervisor in accordance with your job roles and prevailing conditions.

Qualifications, Skills, and Education required.
• Higher national diploma in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or certificate/training in a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of heavy power plant combined cycle construction mechanical and piping installation experience including large/small bore and piping systems and supports.
• 5 plus years of experience in a lead superintendent or construction management role.
• High knowledge of pipeline system operations and drilling works.
• Experience working on large international construction projects is an added advantage
