Position: Country Manager, Uganda
Location: Kampala, Uganda

Role Description.
The Country Manager will be responsible for leading the market expansion, developing and nurturing critical relationships that will grow business, strengthen the company’s position in the industry and build engagement and retention while managing a high performing team. The holder of this role will be accountable for the organizational efficiency of the business towards a better, faster, cheaper structure achieving quality and efficiency in all areas of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain business growth and financial targets
• Manage and coordinate all sales and marketing and business development initiatives
• Fully understand the external competitive landscape while coming up with strategies for expansion, growth and driving customer acquisition
• Provides accurate sales forecasts and manages shipments appropriately to ensure consistent stock supply.
• Establish and sustain strong relationships with relevant industry stakeholders and counterparties to develop business opportunities
• Enhance relationships with existing customers and onboarding new customers to drive business growth
• Coordinating logistical arrangements to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of fuel shipments;
• Develop teams by recruiting, training, and motivating.
Qualifications & Experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Professional Qualification: Diploma in sales and marketing or other related field will be an added advantage;
• At least 7 years’ experience with at least 3 years’ experience at a managerial level in downstream oil industry
