An international leading Solar Energy Provider in Uganda operating in Western Uganda in the districts of Mbarara, lbanda, Kiruhura, Bushenyi, Sheema, Ntungamo, Rubirizi, lsingiro, Mitooma, lbanda, Kyegegwa, Sembabule and Buhweju. ls looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Position: Credit Control Supervisor
Reports to: Finance Manager

The person should be mature (30 years and above), A team leader, goal driven, result-oriented individual with ability to work under pressure and meet targets. He/she should exhibit good communication skills and excellent understating of the Microsoft office and be able to under minimum supervision.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection of all the invoiced money
• To coordinate with all the Branch Managers and Accounts department about the collect data in the field and make sure that the right debtors list is issued.
• Ensure regular and timely reporting of debt collection performance to the Finance Manager
• To evaluate and provide recommendations of the clients to be disconnected and repossessed in coordination with the Branch Managers.
• Analyzing the performance of the debt collection teams and make recommendation on how improvement can be made and applying appropriate debt collection strategies and tools
• Setting debt collection performance targets, monitoring performance through regular appraisals of the team at the Branch Offices
• Ensuring efficiency of the billing systems and implementing appropriate actions on non paying clients
• Identify clients requiring legal action and coordinate collections with third party contractors
•  To enforce the company's debt collection policy and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional qualification in accounting (CPA ll, or ACCAII)
• Previous experience of three (3) years in an audit firm or in a business environment and credit management.
• Good skills in accounting and credit management
• At least three to tour years‘ experience in debt collection

Knowledge, Skills & Competences

• Very good communication skill and leadership skills
• Good ability to work in a team and to communicate with members
• Ability to WOFK under pressure to meet targets with minimum supervision
• Flexibility and ability to work in rural areas under difficult circumstances
• Very good level of integrity, honesty and a strong sense of ethics
• Able to ride or drive
