JOB DETAILS:
Driver job for Health Partners .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A minimum of ordinary level certificate in education is required plus at least five years driving experience for a professional organization
• Clean driving record. Candidates who have received traffic or other transport violations are not eligible for this position.
• Possession of a DL class driving permit.
• Experience in driving manual vehicles with defensive driving skills. Road test drive will be conducted to verify the candidate’s driving skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain collegial relations and perform effectively as a member of a team.
• Excellent time management.

Follow all HPU policies documented in the employee and accountability manuals; report any policy violations to supervisor, and Program Management Advisor or Chief of Party.
Track destinations travelled and fuel refills. Use data to calculate KM/liter rates for assigned vehicle every month. Notify your supervisor and the Program Management Advisor or Chief of Party if you suspect fuel is being used for non¬ project purposes.
Ensure proper sign out of vehicle movement and consistent registration with security guards. If you have concerns raise them to your supervisor and/or Program Management Advisor or Chief of Party or the Director.
Keep a monthly log and use the data to protect against fuel going missing or vehicles being used by non-authorized staff. If there is ever a change from what you recorded in the evening and what is showing the next day, immediately notify your supervisor and copy Program Management Advisor or Chief of Party or Director. Share any concerns that you have with your supervisor.
Ensure that mileage logs indicate details of traveler, travel dates, refilled liters, mode of payment [cash/card], destination, driver's signature/initials, status of business [official/personal] etc. Ensure that non HPU staff sign waiver form before they sit in HPU project vehicle. Ensure writing is clean and legible.
Track driver license and vehicle insurance renewal dates and follow up as necessary to ensure all licenses and coverage is up to date.
