Enhancement of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) System at Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations, Jinja tender at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL)

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) has allocated funds to be used for Enhancement of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) System at Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations, Jinja.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open international bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205, and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information or inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
5. The bidding document, which has been prepared in English, may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 6030011771250, Stanbic Bank, upon which bidders shall present a bank deposit slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10:30 am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 4,000,000/- (Uganda Shillings Four Million Only). The Bid Security must be valid until December 30th, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 10th July 2025 at 11:00 am.
7. Bidders are advised to send qualified and experienced technical staff to attend the site visit and observe all site conditions and requirements necessary for preparing comprehensive and sustainable bids. All participants are required to come with basic personal protective equipment (PPE), including a hard hat, safety boots, and a reflective jacket.
8. The mandatory site visit is scheduled for 27th June 2025 at Nalubaale-Kiira Plants, Jinja, starting at 11:00 AM.
