JOB DETAILS:
Executive Projects Assistant

Executive Projects Assistant (EPA)’ s main tasks will include:
• Providing support to project implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and, effectiveness.
• Supporting the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities in Africa in articulation with the Senior Vice President

Summary of Key Functions:
Providing support to project implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Provides administrative and operational support on the implementation of projects;
• Assist in projects financial resources management, human Resources Management, efficient procurement, and logistical services;
• Supports the elaboration of projects related to Terms of Reference;
• Participation in selection processes for Letters of Agreement signature (LoAs), as well as undertaking activities related to LoAs monitoring;
• Participates in consultant’s selection panels;
• Support to follow-up on project auditing issues;
• Follow-up, on a daily basis, with project partners and donors, to guarantee smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the project;
• Elaboration of project revisions in the Atlas system;
• Undertake other project-related ATLAS transactions, in line with the project assistant profile;
• Maintain up-to-date files and records of project documentation;
• Provide logistical support for workshops and other meetings as tasked by the project manager;
• Process project-related travel arrangements;
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor


Supporting the planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities of projects, in articulation with the Project Manager.
• Support the elaboration of project work plans;
• Support the elaboration of project procurement plans;
• Support the organization of project reviews/tripartite meetings;
• Support the timely preparation and submission of progress reports, donor reports, project reviews, financial reports, audit reports, and any other required project reports;
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• The key results will support the efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of the projects, in accordance with IPC4SD policies and procedures and donor requirements.

Required Skills and Experience
Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably in administration, social sciences, international relations, law, or related area.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant, practical working experience in development-related projects, preferably with hands-on experience in projects implementation;
• Experience working with government counterparts;
• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
