African Youth Development Link (AYDL) is the leading youth-focused non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda on a mission to empower young people and youth to participate in governance and development decision-making processes at all levels. Established on 14th July 2009, AYDL advocates the implementation and firm laws and policies for increased youth participation in leadership and democratic governance processes at local and national levels for progress and change in Uganda and beyond.

Job Title: Finance Manager
Job Overview:
The Finance Manager will oversee the financial and administrative operations of the USAID/Uganda CEA project, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the project’s financial systems, ensuring compliance with USAID regulations and AYDL policies.
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial plans.
• Supervise financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to USAID and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• CPA or ACCA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management roles, preferably in donor-funded projects.
• Extensive knowledge of financial rules, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
