Job Summary
Mutanda Lake Resort is looking for Front Desk Representative to undertake receptionist and reservations duties in our office. You will assist with reservations and be the first point of contact for the guests at the resort. You will greet and check in guests, answer phones, respond to emails, as well as other clerical duties.

Job Description/Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality, whilst also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to give accurate information and deal with complaints. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Your goal should be to make our guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests, give them a short briefing, and check them inefficiently.
• Answer questions and address complaints.
• Answer all incoming calls and provide the information requested.
• Professionally respond to emails in a timely manner (requests and reservations).
• Keep updated records and files.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:
• Proven experience as a front desk representative, agent, or relevant position.
• Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping.
• Proficient in English (both oral and written).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Customer service oriented.
• Must be focused and pay attention to details.

Mutanda Lake Resort is located in a remote area of the Kisoro District. A candidate must be aware that they will have to stay on property, in our staff quarters.

The working hours are 9:00 am to approximately 6:00 pm, 6 days per week.
You will be entitled to 4 weeks paid holiday per year.
