Generating growth opportunities and productivity for women enterprises (grow) project tender at Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development

The Government of the Republic of Uganda has received financing (the “Grant”) from the World Bank towards the cost of implementing the Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Enterprises (GROW) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Framework Contracts. The Project Development Objectives and forecasts access to entrepreneurial services that enable women entrepreneurs to grow their entrepreneurial targeted locations, including brand refugee communities. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) is the lead implementing Agency with the Private Sector Foundation Uganda as an implementation.

  1. The Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Framework Contracts for the items below:

Please Note:

a) Clearly mark the envelope with the subject and reference number of procurements you have applied for, for ease of identification.

b) The GROW Project meetings, outreaches and sensitisation are commonly used as service providers in all districts are encouraged to bid.

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at No.7 from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm during working days.
  2. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address in No.7 below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only).
  3. The method of payment will be bank Advice Form (BAF) obtainable from the Accounts Section on 7th Floor, Gender and Labour House, Plot 2 George Street payable through any bank branch.
  4. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No.7 at or before 11:00 am on April 16, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected.
  5. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the address indicated in No.7 at 11:30 am on April 16, 2025.
  6. Documents shall be inspected, issued, delivered and opened at: Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development Procurement and Disposal Unit, 7th Floor Gender and Labour House Plot 2 George Street plc.
