JOB DETAILS:

Duty Station: Kampala
Remuneration: T3 according to Tamani Scale Contract
Type: Renewable
Contract Period: 3 Years
Reports to: Director of Operations

Role:
Lead the design, development and implementation of effective market strategies for company services and products business model that promote the company ideologies leading to profitability and are in line with the company mission and vision.

DUTIES
1. Design, develop and implement annual marketing strategies plans that are consistent with the company’s ecotourism policy, company vision and mission and sustainably promote the company products and services, in the public shareholders, stakeholders and partners.
2. Design key performance indicators for all staff in the marketing and business development departments, appraise all staff, assist in recruitment and conduct staff training in the department.
3. Design, develop and implement market survey techniques for company products and services, monitor evaluation tools and maintaining a positive image between the company and the public.
4. Design tools that aggressively market the company’s products and services leading to profitability and promotes the company’s ideologies among public minds
5. Prepare periodic reports regarding all marketing operations including quarterly and annual reports for action in the executive team.
6. Design, maintain and update the company’s brand strategies consistent with the company’s mission and vision and aggressively defend the company’s image from time to time
7. Represent the company on key international platforms including international tourism exhibitions, conferences and workshops
8. Maintain a positive working relations between the company and major stakeholders, shareholders, partners and the public
9. Strategically position Tamani Africa limited, its services and products as global leaders in implementing sustainable Eco-tourism initiatives .
10. Design education platforms for the company that provides empowerment in green marketing concept

Qualifications
1. Masters in Marketing and communication
2. Interpersonal and Communication skills
3. Computer skills and Marketing skills
