2 Economic Strengthening Officer-ESO jobs at REPSSI JOB DETAILS: The ES Officer will be responsible for both youth and SILC related activities. Under the SILC docket, the ES Officer will be expected to conduct post-training supervision and mentoring of the Field Agents to ensure proper mentorship of the SILC groups by the Field Agents. The incumbent will identify ways to improve performance and management of groups by the Field Agents. He/she will work directly with Social Workers especially in areas of planning and coordination of field activities and reporting. He/she will ensure that the SILC Field Agents (FAs) meet their targets, attend group meetings as and when they are required, collect data from the field and submit the same without delay.
The ES Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating activities for Youth in the community. The job requires the incumbent to plan, supervise and coordinate activities for the project aimed at reducing vulnerability for the youth and children by using multi-sectoral approach to improve social economic status of children and youth and their caregivers.
Person Specifications Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies, Business studies, or related field of study. Three years' professional experience implementing USAID/PEPFAR funded OVC Economic Strengthening Program interventions. Additional training in income generation/entrepreneurship, life skills, monitoring and evaluation, and HIV/AIDS is an added advantage. Past experience in building and maintaining partnership relations with implementing partners and other community agencies. Supportive, attitude towards processes of strengthening staff capacity. Team management qualities Able to work independently and cooperatively with team members. Demonstrated personal accountability; respect for others, and a drive to serve. Ability to ride a motorcycle and travel within rural communities.

He/she will be responsible for supporting facility-community referral linkages for comprehensive services package to children and adolescent living with HIV/AIDS and their families, compiling and submitting work plans and reports among others.
Person Specifications The holder should possess a Bachelor's degree in social work from a recognized institution and relevant work experience of managing NGOs community-based children and adolescent health projects specifically HIV/AIDS, livelihoods, and child protection. Experience apprenticeship programs for youth and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and Violence against Children are added advantages. Ability to ride a motorcycle and travel within rural communities.

Person Specifications The holder should possess a bachelor's degree in Social work, Social sciences, Community development, Community health with a postgraduate relevant qualification from a recognized institution and relevant work experience of managing NGOs community-based children and adolescent health projects specifically HIV/AIDS,
JOB DETAILS: 2 District Project Coordinator (DPC)
District Program Coordinator will be based in Lwengo/ Lyantonde districts and will be responsible for providing overall leadership and project management support of KCHS activities in two districts (Lwengo and Lyantonde), S/He will be responsible for coordinating, networking, supervising social workers and ensuring services delivery at household level by Para social workers is on course and representing the project, compiling work plans and reports among others.
Person Specifications The holder should possess preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related field. Possession of a post-graduate qualification in project management will be an added advantage. A minimum of three years' experience in a technical advisory/ support role with a large-scale work and relevant work experience of managing NGOs community-based children and adolescent health projects specifically HIV/AIDS, livelihoods and child protection. Experience in working with Local Governments systems is an added advantage.
