African Youth Development Link (AYDL) is the leading youth-focused non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda on a mission to empower young people and youth to participate in governance and development decision-making processes at all levels. Established on 14th July 2009, AYDL advocates the implementation and firm laws and policies for increased youth participation in leadership and democratic governance processes at local and national levels for progress and change in Uganda and beyond.

Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Manager
Job Overview:
The MEAL Manager will lead the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems for the USAID/Uganda CEA project to enhance program quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement an effective MEAL framework, including tools and procedures for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Generate and disseminate actionable insights and impact findings from strategic evaluations.
• Prepare high-quality reports, documenting progress, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Coordinate with USAID and other partners to ensure alignment with donor agency strategies and learning priorities.

Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, International Development, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEAL for donor-funded projects, including USAID.
• Demonstrated expertise in research design, data collection, and analysis.
