Self Help Africa (SHA) is an international non-Governmental Organisation implementing rural development, sustainable food and livelihoods security programmes in nine countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. SHA’s vision is an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa with a mission to support sustainable livelihoods for Uganda’s smallholder fanners. SHA has been working in Uganda for close to 20 years. SHA in partnership with UN World Food Programme (WFP) and two District Local Governments (DLGs) is implementing the next phase of the Agriculture and Market Support (AMS) project in Kiryandongo and Adjumani Districts. The projects overall objective is to contribute to resilient and diversified livelihoods for small holder farmers, especially women. SHA urgently seeks to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following position to support the work of the Project
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (Meal) Associate (Based in Adjumani) .
Under the overall supervision of the Agribusiness Project Manager, the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Associate will support the effective Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning of the WFP-Agriculture and Market support project in Kiryandongo and Adjumani Districts. S/he will be responsible for process monitoring, data collection, analysis, management, learning activities and use of monitoring outputs to improve project programming. S/he will be working closely with project teams to assess field conditions, support capacity building initiatives for improved programming. Key areas of responsibilities include:
• Program Management Support/ System Development;
• Data Collection, Management and Analysis;
• Communication and reporting;
• Learning and Innovation
