Position: Monitoring and Evaluation
Duration: 1 year-Renewable
Start date: January 3 2017
Duty station: Kampala with regular travels upcountry

The post holder will provide technical support in the monitoring and evaluation of project activities.

Main Responsibilities:
• To supervise regular data collection and ensure quality of the ata by random verifications and validations.
• To record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a sate and accessible way.
• To analyze and discuss findings based on regular monitoring data.
• Provide technical support on M&E and evidence based _recommendations to the Project Manager.
• Ensure that implementation_ of field activities adheres to project and The Union's monitoring and evaluation system.
• Participate in conducting baseline surveys and KAP surveys.
• Participate actively in programme planning process. The Union Uganda Office
• Develop project monitoring plan (PMP) of the projects in line with project proposals in consultation with the project manager.
• Assist the Project Manager in designing. coordinating and conducting project evaluations (mid-term and _end-line).
• Assist the Project Manager in designing and conducting Post implementation Monitoring Survey (PIMS).
• Assist the Project Manager and Coordinators in building capacity of districts and lPs on Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E).
• Assist the project Manager in developing quarterly. six month and annual reports.

Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in a Public Health related field, Project Management or statistics with specific training in Monitoring and Evaluation. A minimum of two years working experience with demonstrated assignments in Project monitoring and Evaluation
