JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose :
Support the IT Security department in the review, tracking and resolution of gaps in the IT system security.

Key Responsibilities :
The Incumbent will report to the Manager - Information Technology Security:
• Monitor and Detect potential intrusions and compromises through reviews and analysis of security logs .
• Launch and track investigations to resolution. Recognize attacks based on their signatures. Differentiates false positives from true intrusion attempts.
• Prepare reports of intrusions and potential intrusions compromises to the IT environment.
• Provide timely responses and support to key Information Technology security stakeholders.
• Take lead in logging, tracking and resolving all Information Technology Security issues raised from day to day business operations.
• Providing situational awareness and reporting on cybersecurity status, incidents, and trends in adversary behaviour.

Knowledge :
Academic :
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology /Systems.
• IT System Security Certifications.
Desired Work Experience :
• Minimum of 1 years in an Information Technology Security department.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
