Role Overview
As a Pastry Chef at Tali Cafe, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, responsible for creating delightful pastries and overseeing the bakery department. The position requires a blend of creativity, excellent decision-making, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to quality and teamwork. You will work closely with a team of four, reporting directly to the Manager, in an on-site work arrangement located in Wampewo.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and create standard quality cakes and in-house specialties.
2. Oversee the operations of the Pastry section to ensure efficiency and quality.
3. Maintain a clear inventory record and manage supplies for baking needs.
4. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Post-secondary Diploma in Pastry and Bakery or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in pastry production.
- Knowledge of pastry and bakery techniques, culinary skills, and Microsoft applications.
- Required Skills: Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, creativity, communication skills, and ability to control and monitor production processes.
- Language Proficiency: English, Luganda,
