The international Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is a Public international Organization governed by an international board of directors with representation from developed and developing nations. The nonprofit centre focuses on increasing and sustaining food and agricultural productivity in developing countries through the development and transfer of effective and environmentally sound crop nutrient technology and agribusiness expertise.

lFDC is recruiting staff tor a current call for proposal for a potential 46 month project, focusing on interventions in the potato value chain in proximity to Mbale and Mt. Elgon.

Position: Potato Expert & Team Leader
Protect: “Promotion of Nutrition Sensitive Potato
Value Chains in East Africa (Uganda).“
Duty Post: Mbale District covering neighboring districts
in the proximity of Mt Elgon.
Grade: IFDC BG-8
Duration: 45 month protect expected to start latest
October 2017

IFDC is recruiting a Potato Expert & Team Leader to be based in the Mbale field office and covering Mt Elgon sub region. The person will be responsible for the day to day leadership of the project, and manage the lrish potato value chain and the sector coordination components. He/she will also facilitate cooperation among stakeholders, and provide guidance for other national staff experts employed by the project.
