Rwenzori School of Nursing and Midwifery, located on Kasese
- Portal Road , Kasese Municipality , is looking for suitably qualified applicants to fill the following posts:

The applicant must possess a Bachelor ot Science degree in Nursing with a Post Graduate Diploma in a Medical Education and a diploma in Nursing or Midwifery. A Master's degree in health related or Education management is an added advantage

Job description

•  Arrange for curriculum Development and Revision of Nurse and Midwives training program.
  
•  Manage the institution in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council and Uganda Nurses and Examinations Board Requirements.
  
•  Arrange the theoretical content in teaching blocks and schedules.
  
•  Coordinating the entire training programs both in the classrooms, the clinical areas and with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives
  
•  Stimulating development of teaching and office staff through guidance, counseling and continuing Education opportunities where appropriate.
  
•  Manage and protect the institution properties.
  
•  Manage the institution's finance in accordance to the approved policies and budget of the institution.
  
•  Guide the institution accountant on the preparation of finance budgets and reports.
  
•  Guide and counsel students
  
•  Chair both staff meeting and academic meetings of the institution.
  
•  Prepare reports about the school to sectoral committees and Board meetings.
  
•  Undertake classroom teaching of students as required appropriately (10% of total time}.
